Apple's Billion Dollar Investment on its Data Center

Bangalore: Tech giant Apple is planning to invest whooping $1 billion in building a data centre and a business centre in Reno, Nevada.
Analysis of the project
According to an analysis of the project by Phoenix-based Applied Economics the local government is said to be offering Apple an $89 million tax break which is likely to reduce the company's tax burden for the project by 79 percent. If the local government signs the deal the at the time Apple's effective sales tax rate will be less than 1percent, according to a report.
