Taiwan's dollar rose to the strongestlevel in nearly two weeks on speculation developed economieswill ease monetary policy, improving the island's export outlook.Government bonds were little changed.

The yield on the 1.25 percent bonds due March 2022 was1.231 percent, compared with 1.227 percent yesterday, accordingto Gretai Securities Market. The overnight interbank lendingrate was little changed at 0.506 percent, according to aweighted average compiled by the Taiwan Interbank Money Centre.
