Vidyo Appoints Amir Shaked Senior Vice President of Product Management

At Press-sense, an e-commerce and business process automation software company, Mr. Shaked was President of the Americas, responsible for the company's global OEM relationship with Xerox, delivering 50% of the company's earnings. Earlier his tenure at Press-sense, Mr. Shaked was the CEO of DiskSites, an application acceleration company he sold to Expand Networks, and the founder and CEO of CeLight, an optical communications company where he raised $47M from leading investors including Goldman Sachs.

Previously, Mr. Shaked held the position of President of North America at Accord Video Telecommunications where he was instrumental in achieving a 10X ROI for investors, realized when Polycom acquired Accord for $350M in 2001. He led North America from pre-revenue to market leadership in the F500, state federal and service provider markets, generating 80% of Accord's sales.
